We think this is Buck Rabbit, who lived with Donna, Mike, Lel, Emma, Ben and Mik up to 1991.

One-eyed, Buck Rabbit nevertheless lived free-range in the back garden. He was once kidnapped and retrieved from a neighbour, who had made him a home in her front room (given over to him!), which is where he is thought to have disappeared in 1991.
